The bottom line The one to buy if the flue is going to be calculated properly: 9 kW at 77.8 %, with the required draught of 12 Pa, the spigot diameter, the flue gas temperature and both emission figures all published — one of only two appliances here to give the draught at all. Its 325.6 °C flue gas is the highest in this family, and the grate is flat, so ash is a manual job.

This is the only appliance in this family that gives a flue calculation everything it asks of the appliance side: an output, a flue gas temperature and a required draught.
That matters because whether a chimney suits an appliance is a calculation rather than a comparison of diameters. It takes the appliance’s declared gas temperature, mass flow and required draught, and the chimney’s effective height, cross-section, insulation and the route of the connecting pipe.
Most of this shelf publishes the output and stops. This one does not.
12 Pa is what the appliance needs the chimney to produce at nominal output. The chimney supplies it, through its height, its cross-section and its insulation; the appliance does not generate it.
Too little and the appliance will not run as tested. Too much is the case people do not expect — a tall well-insulated chimney can overshoot, which sends heat up the flue and burns fuel faster. That is what the damper and draught regulator family exists for, and it is the answer to an excess rather than to a shortage.
The approved fuel list names wood and wood briquettes explicitly. That is not universal: some manufacturers approve briquettes, some limit the proportion of a load, and some do not permit them. A stated approval is worth having before a pallet is ordered.

It is the highest figure published in this family, against 312 °C, 250 °C and 227 °C elsewhere here. It is an input to the flue calculation rather than a quality mark: it affects what the chimney has to tolerate and how the gases behave on the way up.
Ash is cleared by hand rather than by shaking or tipping a mechanism. It is simpler and there is less to fail; it is also more work, and it is stated here rather than left to be discovered.
